We provide a comfortable, nurturing, and protected “home away from home” where your baby can thrive and grow from a bundle of joy to a bundle of curiosity. Our emphasis is on creating a loving, healthy, and safe place for your child to feel secure.
Henson Montessori identified an important event that must be conquered in each stage before progression to the next stage could occur. Birth to two year olds move through a stage of Trust vs. Mistrust. Children must feel safe and secure in order to learn. Undue stress compromises learning and moving forward with social/emotional development. Through the guidance of our loving teachers, babies establish healthy bonding which, in turn, helps them develop mobility, intellectual, and social skills for a lifetime of happiness and success. Seeing that every baby has a different routine, our passionate teachers work with parents to create individualized infant activity plans for each child.
BEGIN WITH PURPOSE
As a parent, you deserve to know everything that happens while your little one is in our care. It is our goal to make great efforts to ensure that you are always in the know. We love to show and tell you about your child’s experiences through daily communications with our teachers, as well as providing you with your baby’s personal daily progress form.
To make sure the care we provide is just right for you and your baby, we ask each family to complete a personal care plan to include a schedule, nutritional guidelines, and any other requirements specific to your baby. We work with each family to best meet the needs of each infant. As infants begin to eat solid foods, we work with parents to help make the transition go smoothly.
