Admission into Henson Demonstration Secondary School is open to all pupils who have successfully completed primary education. Admission is open to all students irrespective of creed or race. Entry is through a competitive entrance examination and interview. Th examination date is fixed by the school authority.
The curriculum is broad and comprehensive. it is diversified to cater for the difference in talents, opportunities and roles possessed by or open to students after their secondary education. at the end of the first 3yrs, the students are made to write or sit for the Junior Secondary School Certificate examination (JSSCE) conducted by the State Ministry of Education. While in the senior Secondary School, at the end of the last 3 years, the student’s sit for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and National Examination Council (NECO) and any other prescribed examination.
